Calmont Via Ferrata
The Calmont Via Ferrata is a true insiders tip amongst many hikers and climbing enthusiasts. When it comes to via-ferrata fun, the ‘the climb is the excursion!’ This thrilling adventure is an experience for the entire family. Journeying upwards, participants will proceed past hollows filled with grapevines. Inside these special depressions, dry wall structures support the terraced farming steps used for wine growing. There are many places to rest if need be, or head over to one of the managed huts for refreshments.
Into the wild Endertal valley
Hike through the wildly romantic Enderttal valley and enjoy unique views of unspoiled nature. Along the 20-km trail through the valley from Cochem to Ulmen, you’ll discover the wild beauty of the Endert river.

The Cochem holiday region offers everything bikers crave, from beautiful bike paths, romantic river sections and great inns and taverns to grab a drink or a bite to eat.
